Exhibition

PICA – Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts
Sat 12 Apr – Sun 15 Jun

The Revealed Exhibition arrives at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) for the first time, with the biggest line-up of artists ever presented.

The exhibition spotlights artists at various stages in their careers and offers a rare chance to purchase their work, with all proceeds going directly to artists and their communities, supporting the continuation of emerging Aboriginal artists’ practices.

Remarkable in its breadth, Revealed transports visitors across the state – from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West – with works spanning painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture and weaving. The exhibition is accompanied by free artist talks, workshops, a drop-in art making space and a not-to-be-missed opening night.

Now in its 17th year, Revealed continues to be the place to see the latest in Aboriginal art.

The Revealed Exhibition 2025 is curated by Whadjuk, Ballardong and Wilman Noongar artist and curator Zali Morgan and presented in partnership with the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of WA (AACHWA).

Revealed Exhibition Opening Night

Join us for the Revealed Exhibition Opening Night on Friday 11 April, 6pm – 9pm.

Selection Panel

Participation in the exhibition is open to Aboriginal artists living in Western Australia, with the final selection of artworks made by a panel of independent industry experts. In 2025, the Revealed Exhibition Selection Panel consisted of Sharyn Egan (Noongar Artist), Debra Miller (Noongar Art Consultant), Tyrown Waigana (Wardandi Noongar and Ait Koedhal artist) and exhibition curator Zali Morgan.

The Revealed Exhibition is proudly delivered under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub WA (AACHWA) – the peak advocacy and resource body for Aboriginal art centres in the state.
