Eligibility criteria for group/collaboration
AACHWA acknowledges that state borders don’t always reflect the way artists and communities move, work and live — particularly in regions such as the Western Desert, where artists often travel across the NPY Lands, Northern Territory and South Australia.
Please note, this may be used for the exhibition catalogue and other promotional material.
To be eligible for Revealed, you must be an emerging artist. If you are an established artist, you must NOT have previously exhibited with this medium or technique outside of a commercial gallery and/or an Aboriginal art centre.
Artwork #1
Please note, artists applying with a work-in-progress or site-specific work must demonstrate that the concept is well considered and the timeline is achievable.
Please note, this may be used for the exhibition catalogue. An artwork statement helps people understand what the work is about/the story it is telling and the techniques and/or medium used to create it. The artwork statement can include a direct quote from the artist about the work specifically. It can be in any language the artist chooses, such as the artists first language. If the artist would like to share an artwork statement in their language, please also include the English translation.
